- CYTLALI Q.

"My experience at this Mexican restaurant was satisfactory, considering my modest expectations. I didn't anticipate a gourmet feast, and indeed, it delivered an average dining experience. The prices were reasonable, aligning with the quality of the food served. I tried two full loaded burritos, one with beef fajita and the other with pastor meat. Of the two, the pastor meat stood out with its flavorful taste. While the service was acceptable, the highlight was the selection of refreshing aguas frescas available. I appreciate the affordability of this establishment, making it a viable option for a quick, casual meal with a friend. However, it's worth noting that this isn't the place for a special occasion or a celebratory dinner. It's a small, no-frills Mexican restaurant that caters more to everyday dining needs. In reading other reviews, I found some expectations to be unrealistic. This is not a high-end, five-star dining establishment where patrons spend hundreds of dollars per meal. It serves its purpose as a budget-friendly spot for a laid-back meal, and in that regard, it succeeds."

"We got the Chilaquiles and Machacao. The Machacao was really dry, and only gave 5 potatos. The Chilaquiles really tasted bland and not a great after taste. The refried had a can taste but it did had a great flavor. The overall place was really crowded, and service was decent."

"If you're looking for a great menudo with not an overpowering taste of oregano, then this is the menudo for you. It's not too greasy, right enough hominy, and not overpowered by oregano. You can add pig feet as well. Its delicious. In my top 3 menudo spots in the Southeast."
